Which cookies our sites use and why.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Session cookies are deleted when the browser closes; persistent cookies are kept for the stated period.
Cookies we use
Our sites only use first-party cookies set from Cosel’s own domains; there are no third-party cookies. All of them are essential for the site to work securely:
- cosel_consent: stores your cookie choice. Persistent, 180 days.
- cosel-token: keeps you signed in to the dealer portal. For the session; persistent for up to 30 days with “remember me”.
- cosel-dealer-remember: stores your “remember me” choice. Same lifetime as the session cookie.
The bot protection on our forms uses no cookies; your browser solves a small computing task sent by our server.
Legal basis
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you request and to keep the site secure. They are processed under Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-f of the KVKK and, in line with the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s guide on cookies, need no explicit consent. The persistent sign-in cookie is only set at your request, when you tick “remember me” on the dealer portal sign-in page.
Analytics
We currently use no analytics tool that collects visit statistics. If we add one, it will load only with your consent and this policy will be updated.
Marketing cookies
Our sites use no advertising or retargeting cookies.
Changing your choice
You can reset your choice by clearing the site data in your browser or by using the cookie settings link in the footer.
You can also view and delete cookies in your browser settings: Settings › Privacy and security in Chrome, Settings › Privacy & Security in Firefox, Settings › Privacy in Safari, Settings › Cookies and site permissions in Edge. If you block essential cookies, some functions such as signing in to the dealer portal may not work.
Data controller and your rights
The data controller is Cosel Elektronik Otomasyon Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. Details of personal data processed through cookies and your rights under Art. 11 of the KVKK are given in the privacy notice.
