On FiOC-40, schedules are part of the application on the device, together with the control logic. The schedule switches the equipment itself; if the link to the supervisory system drops, the panel keeps running to its schedule.
Weekly programme and special days
Besides the weekly programme, special days such as holidays can be defined. Schedules can be updated while the device is running; there is no need to stop the application.
Where does the time come from?
The device has a hardware clock. Time, time zone and UTC offset are set from Coselium Workbench or Niagara N4. Checking the clock is the first commissioning step for a schedule that runs at the right time.
Where do you edit the schedule?
- Coselium Workbench: separate views for the weekly programme, special days and periods.
- Niagara N4: once the device is in a Niagara station, its schedules are mapped to the station’s schedules.
Is a licence needed?
No. Schedules, logic blocks, MQTT and serial communication need no device licence.
During commissioning
We recommend trying the schedule live first and then saving the application permanently to the device. Unsaved changes can be lost when power is cut.
